Mary Dewberry

Position: Carer

Mary is a wonderful asset to the MELC team, and one of those extraordinary people who have a natural ability to cope with the most challenging situations in a calm and peaceful manner. 

Mary has been working with our special needs children and continues to amaze us all with her endlessly patient and loving nature.  The children adore her and she has a very special gift with them.  As a mother of three gorgeous young adults (two of whom sometimes work for us in between their University commitments) she has a wealth of experience to draw on.

With Mary’s experience as a mother, she is invaluable and has the knack of making the unworkable look easy.  She repeatedly does more than expected and is always willing to lend support.  Mary can relate to children of any age and can be seen talking with our MELC families on the many aspects of parenting and family life, offering encouragement and understanding.
