Amy Boeree

Position: Carer

Amy joined MELC in September 2008 with a number of years experience in childcare.  Originally from the USA she has lived in Australia for over 20 years and is married with two boys.  Amy has a natural understanding of a child’s individual needs and the ability to tailor a program of activities that suits their particular stage of development.  One of her greatest gifts however, is her ability to capture and relay information very effectively with children.  These communication skills, when combined with her programming and assessment skills, mean that she is dynamite when it comes to identifying the best possible program for our children.  Amy is a fantastic educator and an integral part of the Maraylya Early Learning Centre team.   Being a mother herself adds another dimension to Amy’s abilities, giving her an extra insight into the needs of children.
